Lucid is a visual learning app. We provide summaries of best selling books so users can digest a single book within 15-20 minutes with accompanying visuals to help them understand the main takeaways better. We release one book every week in general.
Role
I worked on the visual concepts for our weekly books. I worked with the writer, editor, and creative director to come up with the best visual solutions in order to help users understand the main takeaways of a book most efficiently. I was mainly responsible for sketching out visual concepts to go with the script on each card. Storyboarding (Book: Essentialism by Greg McKeown)
Once the script is ready, I work on concepting the visuals to go with multiple sequences of cards. These are some of the key sketches I’ve done for one book.
