UI Experience Inside Ford’s New Sedan

We designed user interfaces for the cluster(dashboard behind the steering wheel) and center console inside Ford’s new model ‘Mondeo’ they are launching in China. Main goal was to come up with refreshing interface designs based on ‘smart surface’ concept without losing Ford’s brand identity. We focused on creating UI interactions that are unique but easy enough, at the same time, for users to intuitively understand.

The Ask

_{The client wanted to develop an experience where the drive and passenger could independently interact with the system to activate different features. Also, they wanted the user interface to be intuitive enough for everyone to easily manipulate and achieve their goals in the shortest time.}
